Zolang we niet overal op blote voeten kunnen lopen, zullen we schoenen dragen. Ik ben dol op schoenen, ook al kan ik niet meer dragen wat ik zou willen. Schoenen, in alle maten en verschillende soorten.

Sometimes they tell something about the environment or history. Sometimes it is wasted, as most art highways or playgrounds.

SAIL Amsterdam 2010. Woensdag was de start van de North Sea Tall Ships Regatta in het Engelse Hartlepool. Op 19 augustus is de SAIL-IN Parade naar Amsterdam. De grote windjammers staan ook wel bekend als ‘de zwanen van de oceanen’. Tall ships uit Scandinavie, de UK, Rusland, Polen, Duitsland, Italie en anderen zijn voor de tocht naar Amsterdam aangekomen in IJmuiden.
Sail Amsterdam 2010. There will be a tall ship race from Hartlepool (UK) to IJmuiden (near Amsterdam). This spectacular sailing event (one of the biggest in the world) only takes place every 5 years. August 19th the main sail fleet along the North Sea canal into Amsterdam harbour. Tall ships from UK, Russia, Poland, Scandinavia, Germany, Italy and others are due to arrive. |
